Lucy & Yak is fully GOTS certified and they mention their suppliers on the website. They work with Ecologi to offset their carbon emissions. They use natural dyes for some of their items and they only use Standard 100 Oeko-Tex certified dyes

They use GOTS organic cotton, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and Birla Cellulose™ viscose, linen, GRS certified recycled polyester (from recycled bottles) and a little elastane

They claim all their suppliers pay fair wages as per the Global Living Wage Coalition 

They offer different ways to sell, trade or buy pre-loved Lucy & Yak clothes, for example through their Re:Yak Buyback initiative, Facebook Marketplace Group and even the Re:Yak Studio where old Lucy & Yak clothes can be upcycled. They use leftover fabrics to make hats and aprons. Fabric waste is collected and recycled
