About
Ethically Dressed is for anyone who is interested in sustainable fashion, whether you’re already ethically dressed yourself, or only started learning about it recently.
I research materials, production, sustainability claims, and ethical brands so you can make more informed choices without spending hours doing all the research yourself.

I’ll tell you a bit about myself. I’m in my mid-20s, born in Latin America, raised in Europe. I’ve been interested in fashion all my life and got into sewing at a very young age. In my teenage years, I started learning a bit about the industry that’s behind the clothes I was wearing. After moving across the country to get my Bachelor’s in Fashion & Textile Engineering, I learned just how complex the industry is and the impact it has on the environment. Truthfully, I think fashion and textiles is such an extensive subject that you can’t possibly learn it all in just 4 college years. I often struggled explaining to others how much is involved in producing textile products, and how important it is we change our ways, as it is one of the most polluting industries in the world. That’s why I started this blog + why I decided to pursue an environmental master’s degree (almost done!).
I don’t believe sustainable fashion is about perfection. Having a completely eco-friendly wardrobe is almost impossible. I’d rather show you that small changes, learning more about the industry, and becoming more intentional with your choices can already make a huge difference.
