Patagonia has been making Fair Trade clothing since 2014 and they offer more Fair Trade Certified™ sewn styles than any other apparel brand. Patagonia is a founding and accredited member of the Fair Labor Association® (FLA). They have a Code of Conduct that applies to every level of their supply chain from farm to garment factory. They audit 100 percent of their finished-goods factories for social and environmental concerns, and they monitor the factories for all forms of forced labor, including human trafficking and slavery

You can buy used Patagonia clothes on Worn Wear and you can send them your own used items. They do many things to limit their waste, like installing composting systems at all facilities, phasing out single-use plastics in their purchasing practices, café and stores and recycling all their scrap surfboard foam. They have a Take-Back Program which upcycles old Patagonia T-shirts into their Tee-Cycle collection using Infinna™ Fiber, which can be recycled again and again
