Untouched World produces 94% of its garments in New Zealand, many in its own Christchurch workrooms located next to its headquarters. A small portion is made with selected partners in Vietnam and India that hold certifications such as Fair Trade, Better Work, and SA8000. The brand maps its supply chain from fibre sourcing to garment construction

The brand prioritises natural fibres to reduce microplastic pollution. About 93% of its products are made entirely from natural materials, including merino wool, organic cotton, linen, hemp, TENCEL™, and its Ecopossum™ blend. Around 70% of fibres are sourced from regenerative farms, with most merino wool coming from Glenthorne Station in New Zealand

Untouched World employs 122 staff across New Zealand, with most production taking place locally. Through the Project U collection, garments are produced by women in India who were previously affected by poverty and exploitation, providing living wages, training, and social support. The company also runs the Untouched World Foundation, which offers sustainability leadership programmes for young people

The brand works to keep materials in use and minimise waste. In 2024, 99% of textile waste was diverted from landfill through reuse and recycling initiatives. Fabric scraps are turned into products like “Rubbish Socks,” insulation, or accessories, and the brand also offers garment repairs to extend product life
