Sustainable alternatives to Billie Eilish’s ‘Lost Cause’ neutral loungewear

Billie Eilish was always known for her oversized, baggy and multicoloured outfits. But: new album, new style. The “Happier Than Ever” album cover perfectly represents the new era of Billie Eilish: soft monochrome neutrals. Earlier this year, she released a music video for her fourth single “Lost Cause” and it gives major slumber party vibes. She and her girlfriends wear coordinated neutral and monochromatic loungewear, like an oversized beige T-shirt with cream bike shorts. Lucky for us, this style is much easier to recreate than her previous one.

Loungewear items like these can be found nearly anywhere, so it’s not difficult to recreate the outfits yourself. However, nothing is more relaxing than lounging in an outfit made by an ethical clothing brand. I gathered 16 loungewear items offered by brands listed on this website. Scroll down and create your own neutral-coloured and sustainable loungewear fit.

How Clothes Are Made: The Entire Production Process

In a world where clothes are produced in bulk, at high speed and sold for very low prices, it’s hard to imagine all the work behind the products. This disposable fashion culture that we’ve created, has made us devalue clothes and forget how much it takes to produce clothes. It is often underestimated how many resources, machines, people, factories and more are involved. The entire production process from the plant (or the lab) to the end product, probably consists of a lot more steps than you might initially think. This post will show an overview of the main production steps that a clothing item goes through before you end up buying it in the store…

10 Sustainable Brands That Offer Plus Sizes

I have to be honest, I never looked into plus size fashion, so I didn’t know how difficult it actually is to find it. I went into this thinking I would just quickly list a few brands who have some nice options for curvy and plus-size women. Turns out, I didn’t have much to choose from. Most sustainable brands stop at size XL, so I can imagine why this would hold you back from shopping sustainably if you have a size bigger. But, the brands that do offer bigger sizes aren’t any less stylish. In this post, you will find 10 sustainable brands who offer sizes above XL…
