The 20 Best Sustainable Alternatives To Levi’s Jeans
Levi’s is one of the oldest and most well-known denim companies in the world. Usually when I find sustainable alternatives and compare brands, I’m talking about polluting and problematic fast-fashion brands. In this case, Levi’s is not so much fulfilling the same role as they are making an effort to become more sustainable. However, there are many smaller denim companies who have had sustainability as their main priority since their inception and are continually innovating ways to make jeans better for planet and people. The initiatives of these sustainable brands are often drowned out by advertisements of big brands, while they are actually a lot further along on their sustainability journey than Levi’s is. In this post, I analyse 20 Levi’s jeans and present to you similar ones that are more responsibly-made. And before you think they will be way outside your budget: half of them are around the same price and some even cheaper. So if you can afford Levi’s, you can also afford these more sustainable ones…
40+ Businesses Shein Stole Designs From: The Complete List
A couple of months ago, I spent a few weeks researching fast fashion brand Shein and compiled a list of the 6 most problematic things I found. One topic I touched on was the plagiarism and art theft Shein has and is still committing. With this post, I’m hoping to shine a light on the designers and artists who had to watch their design being stolen and sold for a much lower price. A lot of these products are handmade and the creators spent hours, days or even weeks coming up with the ideas and creating the garment. Many of these small businesses and artists aren’t able to take legal action. Something we can do as consumers, is give credit to the original creators and show them a little support. Continue reading to see the list of currently 32 businesses that had their designs stolen by Shein, but I am constantly updating it…

The summer solstice was just a few days ago, and one of the pieces you’ll see a lot in summer 2022, is a mini skirt. Not everyone will feel comfortable wearing a skirt that’s nearly the size of a belt, so I’ve compiled a list of 30 ethical and wearable options that you can also continue wearing after this season if you do a bit of layering….

10 Sustainable Brands That Offer Plus Sizes
I have to be honest, I never looked into plus size fashion, so I didn’t know how difficult it actually is to find it. I went into this thinking I would just quickly list a few brands who have some nice options for curvy and plus-size women. Turns out, I didn’t have much to choose from. Most sustainable brands stop at size XL, so I can imagine why this would hold you back from shopping sustainably if you have a size bigger. But, the brands that do offer bigger sizes aren’t any less stylish. In this post, you will find 10 sustainable brands who offer sizes above XL…
